Chelsea Trounce Shakhtar Donetsk in UEFA Champions League

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Champions League last-season winners Chelsea paid back their previous defeat against Ukrainian champions Shakhtar Donetsk through a 3-2 win in Wednesday’s Champions League match at Stamford Bridge.

None of the two teams promised to win with ease against one another as both figured in a tight contest throughout the fixture. Fernando Torres opened scoring for Chelsea on the sixth minute but Willian equalized three minutes later.

Up-and-coming Brazilian star Oscar scored from 45 yards to give Chelsea the lead shortly before half time. Willian completed his brace with another equalizer two minutes into the second half. Victor Moses broke the deadlock with a late injury-time winner.
