Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund Record a UEFA Champions League Equalizer

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – A less-than-stellar Real Madrid levelled with visitors Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League fixture, ending the game 2-2.

Dortmund’s Marco Reus evaded Alvaro Arbeloa to find the back of the net past keeper Iker Casillas. Madrid’s Pepe rushed to level matters with a header on the 34th minute.

Robert Lewandowski’s header efforts reflected the potential of Dortmund to win with ease. While both attempts failed, an own goal from Arbeloa gave the lead to the visitors.

Madrid looked set for a home defeat against the nimble German side, until Mesut Ozil came to the rescue on the game’s last minute through his curling attempt that shot past Dortmund’s woodwork.
