The Swiss world no. 2 ensured that
he will win w1th ease over Ferrer by recording a 6-4 7-6 (7-5) scoreline at the
O2 Arena. He will face Argentinian Juan Martin del Potro on Saturday.
Federer noted that his match against
Ferrer “was great, good intensity”. He regarded Ferrer as a “great return
player”, as the Spaniard marvellously returned his impressive serves.
