World number four Robin Soderling battled back from a set down to claim the 'ATP Open 13' title in Marseille against Marin Cilic. After losing the first set to a tie-breaker, Soderling cruised back with easy victories in the second and the decider for a 6-7 (8-10) 6-3 6-3 win.
The Swede was visibly frustrated with himself in the first set, especially after Cliic took the tiebreak. However, he then settled down and broke his opponet twice in the second set before an unforced from Cilic gave him the crucial break in the third.
The win gave Soderling his third title of the year, after having won in Rotterdam last weekend and in Brisbane in January.
After the win, he said, "I have to congratulate Marin Cilic. He played very well and he was really impressive in the first set. He was very aggressive and played really. I'm very proud to have started to play better in the second set instead of starting to play worse after losing the tie-break."
"Winning three tournaments in less than two months is a very nice feeling, it's the best start to a season possible." He added. - http://www.ibtimes.com/
