4 Tennis Titans Battle For 2012 Australian Open Crown

The Australian open heat gets more intense everday. Renowned tennis players from all over the world have gathered to showcase a spectacle of supreme tennis style and moves. Amidst the rally for victory, the biggest question remains, who will be crowned as 2012’s Australian Open champion? Who among Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Andy Murray shall be the winner of this season?

It would not be a surprise if Djokovic steals the spotlight. Currently at the top spot of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), the Serbian tennis icon is the youngest player that has played in Grand Slam events for four (4) times.

Meanwhile, despite of dropping to number 2, Spain’s tennis prodigy, Nadal proved that he is second to none. Stealing the spotlight from Berdych, tennis enthusiasts are eager to know the outcome of the Nadal-Federer rivalry.

Speaking of Federer, while occupying the 3rd spot, the so-called “greatest tennis player of all time” nailed a match against Del Potro, therefore, advancing to the semi-finals. A couple of more wins and the 16 Grand Slam record holder can be seen in the finals again.
Lastly Scotland’s pride, Murray, is no stranger in the Australian open finals. Although holding the 4th rank, he has managed to defend his Canadian Masters title in 2010.
In the meantime, at 12BET, the outright odds for the players are the following:

·         Djokovic – 2.2
·         Federer – 3.1
·         Nadal – 5.5 and
·         Murray – 6.5

Yet, the odds may still change as the Federer-Nadal rivalry strikes once again. Should Federer wins, his fans would get the lion’s shares. But if Nadal steals the crown, this would be a historic moment for Nadal supporters.

In this case, the contenders are narrowed down to Djokovic and Murray, with either Nadal or Federer to complete the top three.
