12BET:Tennis - ATP - Davis Cup (Winner) 9/16

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic faces a supremely fast turnaround if he is to feature from the start in Serbia’s bid to reach the Davis Cup final. Fresh from winning the US Open title on Monday, the 24 year old embarked on a whirlwind media tour in New York on Tuesday and was due to arrive back in his capital city of Belgrade on Wednesday.
Defending Davis Cup champion Serbia faces Argentina in the World Group semi-finals, with the tie set to begin on Friday. Djokovic is joined on the home team by US Open quarter-finalist Janko Tipsarevic,Viktor Troicki and Nenad Zimonjic, while Juan Martin del Potro and David Nalbandian spearhead the Argentine campaign.

Beaten US Open finalist Rafael Nadal is also pulling out all the stops to represent Spain in the other semi-final against France. The Mallorcan arrived in Cordoba late on Tuesday night, having travelled on a private jet with the president of the Spanish Tennis Federation, José Luis Escañuela. He faces not only the difficulties of weariness and jetlag, but also has the added challenge of switching back to clay after weeks pounding the North American hard courts, with only two days to practise.-
